About the Center

The Stardom University Center for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers is a specialized academic unit established in 2025 within Stardom University in the United States. It focuses on teaching Arabic according to modern curricula and international standards, utilizing modern educational technologies and delivering its programs remotely through the university’s digital platform.

The Center’s programs include:

  • Intensive and one-day courses.

  • Diploma, Bachelor’s, and Postgraduate Diploma programs.

  • Master’s and Doctoral programs.

Introduction to Arabic Language Programs for Non-Native Speakers

Program Justifications:

To meet the needs of many students and non-students who wish to learn the Arabic language, culture, and literature for various purposes, such as diplomatic, commercial, religious, and employment in Arab countries.

To address the needs of the Arab labor market, where the influx of expatriates from non-Arabic speaking countries to work in foreign and investment companies (in sectors such as oil, mining, real estate, and others) has increased, necessitating the presence of qualified Arabic-speaking individuals or translators to work in these companies.

To fulfill the desire of non-Arabic speaking students to enroll in Arab universities that use Arabic as the language of instruction.

To respond to the desire of Arab communities in non-Arabic speaking countries to teach their children the Arabic language and culture without interfering with their schooling there.

To meet the need for qualified teachers to teach Arabic to non-native speakers at various levels.
