Intermediate Diploma Program

Objectives:

  1. To disseminate the Arabic language and culture as widely as possible among non-native speakers.
  2. To introduce Arab culture and Arab and Islamic countries.
  3. To enable non-native speakers to communicate in Arabic, making it a second language that facilitates their communication and serves their personal needs.
  4. To qualify students for certain jobs that require proficiency in spoken and written Arabic.

Target Audience:

  1. Non-native speakers who wish to learn Arabic for employment or personal purposes.
  2. Individuals interested in studying and specializing in the Arabic language.

Admission Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Study Plan:

  1. The entire course is conducted online via the Stardom University digital platform. Lectures are offered both synchronously and asynchronously, as required by the program. This allows anyone interested in studying and learning Arabic, regardless of their country or continent, to enroll in the program at a time that suits them.
  2. The program duration is two years, comprising 100 credit hours distributed over six semesters, with three semesters per year.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of the Intermediate Diploma program and passing its examination, the student will be able to:

- Communicate effectively in Arabic, both orally and in writing.

- Speak at an appropriate level about Arab culture.

- Pursue university studies after obtaining the program certificate and enroll in a Bachelor's degree program.

Program Certificate:

Upon completion of the program and passing its examinations, the student will be awarded an Intermediate Diploma in Arabic for Non-Native Speakers, a recognized certificate.
