PhD Program by Research Only in Arabic for Non-Native Speakers
After obtaining a Master's degree in Arabic for Non-Native Speakers, the student is eligible to enroll in the PhD program by research only, equivalent to 63 credit hours, provided the following conditions are met:
1- The research period must be at least four semesters.
2- The student must prepare an original academic research paper under the supervision of a professor within the specified period.
3- The research must adhere to all established scientific research standards, principles, and criteria.
4- The research paper must be at least 200 pages long.
5- Upon completion of the research, a discussion session will be held, consisting of three professors: the research supervisor, an internal examiner, and an external examiner. The degree will be awarded with a grade out of 100, according to the university's degree award criteria, and the examiner's specific area of expertise will be determined based on the research topic.
